One, two, one two…this is not. a. test…

Nope, this is it, real life to the fullest. Tomorrow I leave for an epic, sacred, adventure of a lifetime that’s been a year and a half in the making.  So much has led up this moment, so much grace and synchronicity.  And for goodness sake I just need to get there already!  I know for many of you, it ain’t no big thing to pick up and travel for months on end.  This is not my way. Doesn’t seem to be my path, and that’s cool..I’m fine with that.  I’m nesty by nature so two and a half weeks away from home feels like a big deal to me, never mind a huge gift.

And what a gift I have given myself! Seriously!  WTF, I’m going to friggin’ EGYPT!!!! Me!?!

Yeah, me.  I’m shocked, stunned, excited, scared, and grateful…always, always grateful.  I’m grateful I’ve chosen to honor myself in this way, and by doing so to honor my path, my medicine, my ancestors, and all those who conspire to see me succeed in the world. I thank you, from the deepest place in my heart, I thank you.  I thank you for your love, your support, your generosity of spirit, your kindness, your reflections, your grace.

So I have set my intentions as clear as can be, and all the rest is sweet surrender.

G’night my loves, see you on the other side of the world.

  1. If you visit the gize plateau, pay a visit to the shop of the hakim family, very nearby!!!
You will love it and the hakim family too! Go girl, you will love it

    1. Thank you Simone, that is who I was touring with! Indeed I did, and came home with some special things from there. The Awyan family are extraordinary, warm, generous, talented, and welcoming. I am honored to have been welcomed into their home.
